The Coretan Series.

A serendipitous project which started since the pandemic lockdown, our aim is to nurture creativity and imagination in kids. These art pieces are definitely great accents to feature in your home or space.

Our latest collection of art pieces are made by children from ages 1-6 years old. ‘‘Coretan’’ which means scribble or doodle in Malay is basically expressed during times when one needed their own moment and space. We doodle when we are bored, we scribble as a way to let go. It is our hope that with this concept of leaving a time marked on paper, we are able to push forth and express the purity of these little minds, heart and soul.

Children often use art to help them process their experiences and deal with overwhelming emotions. Art provides kids with critical sensory input and can help children express their feelings in a multidimensional way even if they lack the vocabulary to describe their feelings with words.

The Coretan Series is an evolution of time and each piece is carefully selected, curated, described, expressed and made by these children. All proceeds will go to each of these little artists.
